  • Alexandr Tulupov

On March 19, 1967, Alexander Tulupov was born in the village of Klyuchi in the Ust-Kamchatsky district of Kamchatka Territory. His mother worked as a nurse, while his father was a ship mechanic. The parents gave their one kid their undivided attention and care, establishing in him Itelmen ideals and customs.

After completing his higher education and earning a degree in ship machinery and mechanisms from the Leningrad Institute of Water Transport Engineers, Alexander Tulupov returned to his native country and started working on fishing boats. In 1995, he and his father founded a business for the extraction and processing of salmon fish on the Vakhil River.
